APX XE500 Remote Speaker Microphones (RSMs) are designed with the users extreme environment in mind. These RSMs feature an asymmetrical shape to help you find the controls without looking, even while wearing bulky gloves. The large push-to-talk button and an extra-large emergency button, which illuminates orange when activated, are easy to locate, but shielded so they're not accidentally activated. The APX XE500 RSM's five integrated microphones and Adaptive Audio Engine automatically change the level of noise suppression, microphone gain, Windporting and speaker equalization to produce clear and loud audio in any environment. The strategic placement of the microphones and enhanced water drainage provide users with the flexibility to wear it straight, upside down and even sideways while still delivering loud and clear audio.
