Motorola MTR2000 UHF (403-470 MHz) Repeater (100W)
Developed to be an integral component of any analog conventional or Motorola SMARTNET[tm] or SmartZone[tm] trunked radio system, the MTR2000 offers customers unmatched flexibility. Weighing only 19 kg (40 pounds), it will initially be offered for conventional operation over VHF and UHF frequencies. The station features two power levels, covering 100 to 1 watt, and 12.5 or 25/30 kHz programmable channel spacing. The station is also capable of the proposed FCC Part 90 specifications for 12.5 kHz narrowband operation.
The software based design of the MTR2000 allows customers to upgrade applications quickly and easily through Motorola's FLASHport[tm] technology. Programming and diagnostic testing can also be performed through a personal computer.
The modular design, size and weight of the MTR2000 allow for quick installation. The MTR2000 also effectively shortens maintenance time through its innovative use of Field Replaceable Units (FRU). These functionally separate modules allow a customer to eliminate elaborate diagnostics and field repair by simply dropping in replacement units.
The MTR2000 base station/repeater offers a number of additional inherent features that effectively maximize system performance, including:
- Microprocessor based design with integrated DSP capability
- Continuous-duty cycle performance
- Battery revert in the event of a site power failure
- Self-testing monitors station performance
- Switching Power Supply supporting a wide range of voltages and frequencies
NOTE: If your order includes programming, please email us a request for our Programming Form after checkout. We will only program up to 16 channels and do not program for trunking systems.
